March 5th, first submission.
March 11th, email notification for review.
April 12th, rejection (modification required before resubmission), two reviewers, both rejected.
April 23rd, second submission.
April 26th, email notification for review.
May 29th, acceptance (additional two reviewers, making a total of four reviewers, the new two reviewers rejected, the initial two reviewers suggested acceptance, editor gave acceptance, modification required).
Access journals are much stricter now than before, so it is advised to revise thoroughly before submitting, in order to avoid wasting time.

Overall, the review process was fast, and the reviewers were not as bad as mentioned online. At least for me, the two reviewers for my first submission were quite professional, and for the second submission, it was sent back to the original reviewers.

2023.3.28 - External review process initiated, received email stating "We have started the review process for your article."
2023.5.12 - Emailed the editor to inquire about the status of the manuscript, stating that it has been "Under Review" for 45 days.
2023.5.14 - Accepted. Two reviewers, one recommended direct acceptance stating "The content of the research is very interesting," while the other accepted with minor edits. The reviewer raised some minor issues, but they were very professional and likely an industry expert.
2023.5.15 - Final revised version uploaded.
2023.5.15 - Accepted.
Overall, the experience has been great. A year ago, the paper was rejected three or four times in China. The first attempt to expedite the process failed, the second attempt waited for over two months for external review without receiving any feedback, and the third and fourth submissions ended in failure. Finally, I wish everyone success in publishing more papers!!!
