The IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing covers audio, speech and language processing and the sciences that support them. In audio processing: transducers, room acoustics, active sound control, human audition, analysis/synthesis/coding of music, and consumer audio. In speech processing: areas such as speech analysis, synthesis, coding, speech and speaker recognition, speech production and perception, and speech enhancement. In language processing: speech and text analysis, understanding, generation, dialog management, translation, summarization, question answering and document indexing and retrieval, as well as general language modeling.

I don't know what field the submission on the first floor is about. I submitted my paper in the field of artificial intelligence in August 2021, but it has not yet entered the review process. I have followed up about 4 times, and the first two times I felt like I received an automated response with the exact same wording. The recent response from the editor said they will try to find a reviewer.

Submitted in early June, received initial comments in early August. There were three reviewers, two suggested minor revisions and one had no comments.
The editor requested major revisions, with a deadline of four weeks.
After making the revisions, received acceptance notification after one month.
Overall, the process was still quite fast!
