Strictly speaking, this is not considered a journal because as the name suggests, it is actually a collection of abstracts. It mainly consists of abstracts of conference papers accepted by ACS.
According to the formula, Abstracts of Papers of the American Chemical Society is in an awkward situation. Because all the publications in this journal are abstracts, the values for articles and reviews are 0. With a denominator of 0, it is impossible to calculate an impact factor! Therefore, even after being indexed for many years, Abstracts of Papers of the American Chemical Society can only continue its lonely journey helplessly.
