Cognitive Computation is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that publishes cutting-edge articles describing original basic and applied work involving biologically-inspired computational accounts of all aspects of natural and artificial cognitive systems. It provides a new platform for the dissemination of research, current practices and future trends in the emerging discipline of cognitive computation that bridges the gap between life sciences, social sciences, engineering, physical and mathematical sciences, and humanities.

Hello, may I ask if the questionnaire for cognitive computation is mandatory? This is my first submission and I need to answer two questions: What are the main contributions of my paper to the cognitive computation community, and why are these contributions important? I am having trouble with these two questions.

"Oops, the manuscript was urged and rejected. The response to the urging stated that two reviewers had replied, and they were waiting for the third reviewer's response. After urging again, it was rejected, and only negative comments from reviewer 3 were given. It took 80 days to submit, how frustrating."
