JOURNAL OF MOLECULAR LIQUIDS
J MOL LIQ
ISSN / eISSN
0167-7322 / 1873-3166
目标和范围
The journal includes papers in the following areas:
– Simple organic liquids and mixtures
– Ionic liquids
– Surfactant solutions (including micelles and vesicles) and liquid interfaces
– Colloidal solutions and nanoparticles
– Thermotropic and lyotropic liquid crystals
– Ferrofluids
– Water, aqueous solutions and other hydrogen-bonded liquids
– Lubricants, polymer solutions and melts
– Molten metals and salts
– Phase transitions and critical phenomena in liquids and confined fluids
– Self assembly in complex liquids.– Biomolecules in solution
The emphasis is on the molecular (or microscopic) understanding of particular liquids or liquid systems, especially concerning structure, dynamics and intermolecular forces. The experimental techniques used may include:
– Conventional spectroscopy (mid-IR and far-IR, Raman, NMR, etc.)
– Non-linear optics and time resolved spectroscopy (psec, fsec, asec, ISRS, etc.)
– Light scattering (Rayleigh, Brillouin, PCS, etc.)
– Dielectric relaxation
– X-ray and neutron scattering and diffraction.
Experimental studies, computer simulations (MD or MC) and analytical theory will be considered for publication; papers just reporting experimental results that do not contribute to the understanding of the fundamentals of molecular and ionic liquids will not be accepted. Only papers of a non-routine nature and advancing the field will be considered for publication.

Article revised 20 Nov 2022
Article accepted for publication 22 Nov 2022
Submitted for review two to three days after submission, the first review took one month with two reviewers. Major revisions were requested, and two months were given for the revisions.
On October 13, 2022, the article was sent back for revisions and reviewed again within two to three days. The second review took over a month. Upon tracking the status of the review, it was found that only one person agreed to review it again. On November 13, 2022, I sent a reminder for the review, and the editor replied that the article was still under review, asking for patience.
On November 14, the status changed to the third reviewer conducting the review. On November 20, a response was received stating that the revisions from the first review were accepted and the second review from the third reviewer required minor revisions, along with citing the article and addressing two small issues.
On the morning of the 21st, the revisions were completed and sent back for review. The third reviewer reviewed it again on the afternoon of the 22nd and accepted the revisions by 2:00 PM. Half an hour later, feedback was received, indicating that the review process was complete.
At 6:30 PM on the 22nd, a message confirming acceptance by the journal was received.
