I submitted an article on minimally invasive treatment for tumors. Two months later, the journal provided the peer review results, and the editor's comments were very constructive. After making revisions, the article was accepted. The whole process from submission to acceptance took about three months, and the article was published within six months.

I have been submitting for 5 months now, and the status has been "In Peer-Review" the whole time. I sent a reminder after 4 months, but received no response. Any senior colleagues with similar experiences, should I continue to wait?
