The reference format requirements are very strict, and there have been multiple rounds of revisions. On November 30, 2022, the manuscript status changed to "With Editor".
It has been almost 4 months now, and it is still with the editor.
I have reminded them three times, and each time they said there are too many backlogged manuscripts, insufficient staff due to personnel changes, and difficulty finding reviewers.
Now I am preparing to withdraw the manuscript and submit it to another journal.
Thank you for your response and for forwarding our question to the Editor.
However, we are sorry to inform you that it has been 14 days since your response and we have not received a satisfactory reply yet. This is disappointing, and as a result, we would like to request the withdrawal of our submission and we will not consider submitting to this journal in the future.
