TECHNOLOGICAL FORECASTING AND SOCIAL CHANGE

Last year I submitted an article, and it was sent for review by the editor two months later. After being under review for 8 months, it was rejected with only one reviewer. I contacted the customer service of Elsevier and they explained that the delay was due to the editor's failure to find a new reviewer.

This year, I submitted another article on February 17th, and it was with the editor on February 18th. On March 20th, it was still with the editor, and the same on March 21st. Since then, there have been no further updates until June 23rd.

Regardless of the outcome of this article, I will not submit to them again in the future. The handling by the editorial department has been extremely untimely, and the experience has been very poor. I have submitted to several 3-star ABS journals, but this one has been the most frustrating.

TFSC has a high recognition in China, being ranked as JCR Q1, CAS Q2 Top, and ABS three stars. My research in the field of innovation management has finally been accepted after a long 8 and a half month process. I would like to express my gratitude to the three reviewers for their professional opinions, which were detailed, rigorous, and thorough.
