Materials Research Express

The first SCI paper in my life, I want to thank the editors and reviewers of MRX for their recognition of our research work and for providing an opportunity for revision. There were two reviewers in total, one major revision and one minor revision. The major revision provided more than 20 constructive comments, which were very helpful in improving the quality of the paper. After submitting this journal for review, whether or not we were able to find reviewers, it was stated as "awaiting referee report". Mine also had no progress after two months, and I didn't dare to rush it. I was quite anxious at that time... After two months, I sent an email to inquire about the status, and they replied saying that they hadn't found any reviewers yet. However, they found reviewers two days after I sent the email, so it took about two months and a week. But the reviewers were quite quick in reviewing the manuscript. Personally, I guess there were too many submissions, and the reviewers didn't agree to review, so the editor forgot to find new ones. If that's the case, I think it would be good to send a reminder email... I wish everyone a smooth graduation!
