I am pleased to share that recently, we have received the acceptance of our research article in the New Journal of Chemistry. I wish to share the overall process that would be helpful for the newbies.
The research article (in Organic Synthetic Transformations) was submitted on March 1, 2024. After 10 days of screening at the editorial office, the article has been sent to an associate editor (Status: Editor Assigned).
In the following weeks, two reviewers were assigned one after another upon receiving the commands, and the reviewer's commands were received after 45 days (15 April 2024, minor revision).
Upon submission of a response to the reviewer's commands, the paper was accepted after 4 days. Since it is a minor revision, the associate editor cross-checked the queries and responses and accepted the article in its current format. It's been a wonderful experience with the RSC editorial office/associate editor, and I wish everyone with all success. Have a wonderful day.
