There are two tracks for attending summer school: scholarship students and self-payers. Scholarship applications must be submitted through the Slovak Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport. The self-payers application deadline is June 7th, 2024.
A new tool called iMPAcT is introduced for testing Android apps. Unlike traditional Mobile Binary Testing (MBT), iMPAcT doesn't require prior app knowledge and keeps the number of tests manageable. It achieves this by analyzing the app's behavior during runtime, focusing on recurring user interface patterns (UI Patterns). This approach overcomes limitations of prior MBT techniques.
The application period for this Peace and Security program is open two times in a year.
The program aims to support projects that promote peace and security through non-violent means, with a focus on:
Challenging militarism
Examining counter-terrorism measures in the context of human rights
Building support for alternative approaches to defense and security
Addressing the combined impacts of COVID-19 and systemic racism
