This method, bypassing complex electromagnetic calculations, accelerates the optimization process significantly. As a result, we designed a highly sensitive nanoridge plasmonic sensor. This efficient strategy could revolutionize the design of future nanophotonic devices.

I found this article interesting. In summary, roughly half were female (49.1%) and 55.9% were high school students. The ethnic composition was mainly non-Hispanic white (56.5%), followed by Hispanic (24.6%), and non-Hispanic black (13.0%). Of these, 23.6% had ever used e-cigarettes and 10.9% were current users. Between 2017 and 2018, there was a noticeable rise in students who had ever used marijuana in e-cigarettes, growing from 11.1% to 14.7%. This uptrend was prevalent among both genders, teens aged 13-17, and certain ethnic groups. Notably, 2018 saw that 42.7% of all e-cigarette users, 53.5% of current users, and a whopping 71.6% of those using multiple tobacco products had tried marijuana in their e-cigarettes.
