Nurse Practitioner Placement in A Nursing Home in Japan

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the role of nurse practitioners (NPs) in a specialized nursing home for older adults in Japan. The findings showed that the placement of NPs resulted in an increase in residents requiring care, a decrease in emergency outpatient visits, and changes in the relationship between emergency visits and hospitalizations, indicating that the placement of NPs contributed to the appropriate utilization of health care resources.

Summary: This study investigated the components of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) reflected in the assessment instruments used in cardiac rehabilitation for individuals with heart failure (HF). The results showed that body function was the most frequently detected component, but none of the instruments covered all aspects of the ICF. The Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLHFQ) demonstrated the most comprehensive coverage of ICF components.

Psychometric validation of the Chinese digital health literacy instrument among Chinese older adults who have internet use experience

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Chinese version of DHLI in assessing eHealth literacy among older adults in China. The findings can support healthcare professionals to effectively measure eHealth literacy among older adults and conduct tailored eHealth interventions or training.

The findings suggest that providing support for doctoral nursing students and faculty can enhance the use of MMR in these programs.

The mediation effect of mental resilience between stress and coping style among parents of children with cochlear implants: Cross-sectional study

Using the information-motivation-behavioral skills model for targeting older adults' climate change management practices: in the road of COP27
