The findings emphasize the importance of accumulated host-country experiences and a mature legal environment in successful implementation. The study suggests that policymakers in emerging economies can create favorable legal environments to support such triadic collaborations, offering a promising policy option for foreign investment.

Enhancing blue: The resilience of blue economy and the efficiency of China's sea-land industrial synergy

Can environmental tax reform curb corporate environmental violations? A quasi-natural experiment based on China's environmental fees to taxes

Summary: The study finds that China's environmental fees to taxes policy (EFTP) can effectively inhibit corporate environmental violations. Additionally, the policy is more effective in non-state-owned companies and in regions with higher marketization, stricter environmental regulation, and higher tax rates. This research provides important evidence for improving environmental tax policies.

SIoT robots and consumer experiences in retail: Unpacking repeat purchase intention drivers leveraging computers are social actors (CASA) paradigm

Breaking barriers or maintaining status quo? Female representation in decision-making group of venture capital firms and the funding of woman-led businesses

Summary: This study examines the influence of female representation in decision-making groups of venture capital firms on the firms' decision to fund woman-led businesses. The findings suggest that in the male-dominated industry, decision-making groups with higher female representation are less likely to fund woman-led businesses. However, this negative effect can be mitigated when the decision-making group includes politically neutral members or members with shared prior employment affiliations.

On the economic implications of international travel restrictions: Evidence from Chinese MNEs' firm value

Exploring the factors that drive millet consumption: Insights from regular and occasional consumers

Summary: This study conducted semi-structured interviews with 29 participants to explore the perceptions and motivations of different millet consumer groups. Both groups express dissatisfaction with millet marketing, feeling stigmatized by the predominant portrayal of millets as medicinal foods.
