Summary: The mechanism of Echinacoside (ECH) in treating breast cancer (BC) was explored through network pharmacology and experimental validation. It was found that ECH plays an important role in anti-BC by regulating the PI3K/AKT/HIF-1 alpha/VEGF signaling pathway, and it exhibits multi-target and multi-pathway effects.

This article provides methodological considerations for incorporating sex as a biological variable in in vitro and in vivo experiments, including the influence of age and hormone levels, and proposes strategies to enhance methodological rigor and translational relevance in preclinical research.

Molecular dynamics simulations of the solubility and conformation change of chitosan grafted polyacrylamide: Impact of grafting rate

Summary: The effect of grafting rate on the water solubility of chitosan-grafted polyacrylamide (Chi-gPAM) was investigated using molecular dynamics simulations. The results showed that the intramolecular hydrogen bonding of Chi-gPAM played a dominant role in its water solubility. Additionally, the interaction between Chi-gPAM and water increased with grafting rate.
