Parametric study of geocell reinforced pavement is presented in this paper. The FEM analysis models include unreinforced pavement structures and geocell-reinforced pavements with various geocell positions, thicknesses and strengths. The model output includes the expected life of the pavement. Parametric study results are consistent with the results of analytical solutions, laboratory tests, and field-test experiments. The results reveal a significant improvement in capacity, reduction in asphalt-layerthickness, and an increase in life expectancy of the geocell-reinforced pavement structure.
