High-Performance Computing for Big Data Processing

It is agreed that high-performance computing is of great importance for big data processing, but many challenging issues have arisen, such as the scalability of computing performance for high velocity, high variety, and high volume big data. This special issue is devoted to the most recent developments and research addressing various theoretical and practical aspects of high-performance computing for big data processing.
