Conflicting conclusions present in earlier studies on the relationship between sperm chromatin anomalies and outcome of conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF) may result from confounding by poorly controlled external factors. We examined the relationship of sperm chromatin parameters and outcome of conventional IVF while strictly controlling external factors. (Fertil Steril (R) 2009;92:1344-6.
