In this article, we study the Lambda(c) and Lambda(b) baryons in the nuclear matter using the QCD sum rules, and obtain the in-medium masses M*(Lambda c) = 2.335 GeV, M*(Lambda b) = 5.678 GeV, the in-medium vector self-energies Sigma(Lambda c)(v) = 34 MeV, Sigma(Lambda b)(v) = 32 MeV, and the in-medium pole residues lambda*(Lambda c) = 0.021 GeV3, lambda*(Lambda b) = 0.026 GeV3. The mass-shifts are M*(Lambda c) - M-Lambda c = 51 MeV and M*(Lambda b) - M-Lambda b = 60 MeV, respectively.
