One-Pot Syntheses of α,β-Unsaturated Carbonyl Compounds through Palladium-Mediated Dehydrogenation of Ketones, Aldehydes, Esters, Lactones and Amides

This review highlights the different direct stoichiometric and catalytic palladium procedures leading to alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds from the corresponding ketones, aidehydes, esters, lactones and amides. The proposed mechanisms are described, in some cases with,personal observations.
