This review concerns the recent studies carried Out by our research group and others aimed at the design of heteroscorpionate ligands based on bis(pyrazol-1-yl)methane-containing stereogenic centres. The capability of these systems to stabilize chiral complexes from early to late transition metals, through their behaviour as multidentate hybrid ligands, is also described, ((C) Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
