The micromammal faunal list of the long-known locality Estrepouy (Aquitaine basin) is revised: the data from additional material are included and taxa determinations are updated. The fossil assemblage includes around thirty species (seven insectivores) and is a little older than Wintershof-West (Germany), representative locality for the MN3 level that includes more than forty species with twenty insectivores. Some differences in their micromammal faunas reveals different palaeoenvironmental conditions, certainly more dry in South-Western France but not so dry as in MN3 Spanish faunas.
