The nano-fuel are prepared by dispersing CNT, CeO2, and Co3O4 nanoparticles in n-tetradecane (C14). This experimental study investigates the effect of nanoparticles mass fraction as well as the variation of nanoparticles sizes on the viscosity and evaporation characteristics. It is revealed that the viscosity increases with the increase in mass fraction and the decrease in particle size. In addition, the presence of nanoparticles leads to a reduction of the evaporation rate during constant contact line phase. However, the droplet evaporation rate is augmented remarkably in constant contact angle and hybrid phase. As a result, the whole evaporation time of nano-fuel droplets is shorter than base fuel.
