This paper reports on a recently developed numerical simulation method (NGRFs, numerical generation of response factors method) for the prediction of earth-contact domain temperatures under multi zone structures. It will be studied the way that a typical multi-room slab-on-ground floor influences soil's and other underground components' temperature with time and depth. In order to validate the NGRF solution when is applied in multi zone cases the analysis of the way that rooms interact each other is explained. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
