A high performance solid oxide fuel cell cathode using the yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) nanofiber scaffold with the infiltrated La1-xSrxMnO3 (LSM) shows an enhanced catalytic activity toward oxygen reduction. Such a cathode offers a continuous path for charge transport and an increased number of triple-phase boundary sites.
