Catalytic activity Fe-MIL-101 as a reusable solid acid catalyst for acetalization of aldehydes with methanol and enamination of beta-dicarbonyl compounds was explored. The recovered Fe-MIL-101 could be reused over ten cycles without any loss of activity. The novel solid acid catalyst has great potential for green chemical application.
