We report chosen electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical properties of two conductive polymers received from isomeric carbazole trimers of a kind mixed conjugation. The electrochemical properties of two isomeric carbazole trimers, which structure comprise the N- with 3,6- or N- and 2,7-linkage of carbazole groups, were investigated. On the electrochemical process stable polymer films were obtained that properties were further examined. Electrochemical, UVVis-, and EPR-spectroelectrochemical data have been provided to discuss the properties and to propose the polymer structure. The basic properties like the band gap, HOMO and LUMO values, absorption and emission maximum wavelength either for monomers and polymers were compared. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
