A novel Pt-based bimetallic electrocatalyst, hollow mesoporous Pt-Ni nanospheres (HMPNNs), has synthesized by an efficient route. The HMPNN exhibits the superior electrocatalytic performance in oxidation reactions with greatly enhancing Pt utilization efficiency due to its unique structure and very electrochemical surface area.
