On the basis of its adsorption capacity, O-2-plasma oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (poMWCNTs) was found to be useful for Cd(II) and Pb(II) detection. The surface morphology of poMWCNTs was examined by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The detection was performed by the square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). The interference and stability were investigated under the optimized conditions. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
