The crystal growth and morphological changes of C. I. Disperse Blue 79 in supercritical CO(2) were investigated using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. Crystals of the undissolved dye grew in the supercritical fluid and the melting point and crystallinity of this undissolved dye increased with increasing temperature and pressure.
