Photodegradation of a phenol wastewater sample with ZnO-TiO2 supported on nano-clinoptilolite particles (NCP) was studied. NCP were obtained by planetary ball mill. The proposed catalyst was obtained via ion exchanging of NCP with Zn(NO3)(2).6H(2)O and C4H10N2O10Ti.H2O (0.2M) aqueous solutions for 12h followed by calcination at 450 degrees C for 12h. XRD, FT-IR, and TEM were used for characterization of samples. The best degradation efficiency was related to the catalyst containing both ZnO and TiO2. The optimum values were 0.1gL(-1) of photocatalyst, 100 times diluted wastewater solution, and pH of 3.0 in photodegradation studies.
