A facile method was used for the synthesis of CNTs@TiO2 nano-composites using a simple apparatus at ambient pressure and temperature. CNTs@TiO2 exhibit core-shell structure without any interfacial adhesive layer on the CNT surface. The photodegradation of methyl orange suggests enhanced photoactivity of CNTs@TiO2 under UV light. The morphology, structure and composition of CNTs@TiO2 were also investigated.
