The catalytic hydroboration of tert-butylethene using H3B center dot NMe3 gives RH2B center dot NMe3. With H3B center dot NMe2H tandem hydroboration under mild conditions/dehydrocoupling occurs that produces R2B=NMe2 (R = H, (CH2CH2Bu)-Bu-t).
