Hierarchically micro- and mesoporous supra-nanostructure, Cu-BDC and Cr-BDC (BDC = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate), were prepared in which the mesopores are arranged in a disordered fashion. N-2, H-2, CO2, and CH4 adsorption properties of them have been investigated at low and higher pressures, indicating that they are new porous materials with relatively high performance. Most interestingly, Cr-BDC exhibits high H-2 adsorption isosteric heat and higher uptakes of CO2 and H-2 among these coordination polymer particle materials.
