Coagulopathy in Critically Ill Patients Part 2-Soluble Clotting Factors and Hemostatic Testing

This manuscript provides an overview of how to interpret in vitro clotting studies and how to select studies to evaluate patients with bleeding disorders in the ICU. It provides a practical approach to understanding the complex subject of clotting factor abnormalities, including the most common problems of preanalytical error and anticoagulation therapy.
