Covalent attachment of a phenolic antioxidant analogue of -tocopherol to graphite-coated magnetic cobalt nanoparticles (CoNPs) provided a novel magnetically responsive antioxidant capable of preventing the autoxidation of organic materials and showing a reduced toxicity toward human cells.
