Ferrofluid solution was successfully synthesized by wet chemical route. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope were employed to investigate the crystal phase structure and particle size diameter, respectively. After synthesis, the average diameter of solid particle size is similar to 30 nm. Furthermore, the ferrofluid solution was used as nano-abrasion media for surface smoothness enhancement of bacterial cellulose nanocomposite. Atomic force microscope revealed that significant enhancement of surface smoothness reaches 5 nm, suggesting that bacterial cellulose nanocomposite substrate can be excellent candidate for organic light emitting diode.
