The branched trichlorotetrasilane PhSi(SiMe2Cl)(3) reacts with P-7(SiMe3)(3) leading to formation of a new oligophosphane {PhSi(SiMe2)(3)}(2)P-14 (1), which consists of two PhSi(SiMe2)(3) substituted P-7 norbornane units. The phosphatetrasila[1.1.1]pentane derivative PhSi(SiiPr(2))(3)P (3) was obtained from the reaction of PhSi(SiiPr(2)Cl)(3) (2) with Li3P.
