Gold [Au(0)] nanoparticles immobilized into a stable covalent organic framework (COF) have been synthesized via the solution infiltration method. The as-synthesized Au(0)@TpPa-1 catalyst shows high recyclability and superior reactivity for nitrophenol reduction reaction than HAuCl4 center dot 3H(2)O.
