Host-guest assembly provides a universal platformto construct responsive carrier systems for targeted imaging and controllable gene delivery. The best advantage of this strategy is that systems are very easy to handle, do not involve tedious chemical reactions and can be flexibly optimized by changing the functional tags responding to a request.
