Here we exploit dsDNA-specific fluorescent copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) as a green nano-dye for polymerization-mediated biochemical analysis. Good feasibility and universality are demonstrated through detecting threemodel targets (polymerase, mercury ion and nucleic acid).
