Polystyrene/graphene (PS/GP) core-shell microspheres which are demonstrated to be highly sensitive for dopamine (DA) detection with excellent morphology were prepared via electrostatic interactions and pi-pi accumulation. This interesting discovery is practical to utilise compared to traditional biotechniques and surface functionalization methods.
