The second part of this series of papers reviews well-known factors characterising cloth structure and analyses their advantages and shortcomings. An opinion is expressed that their main shortcoming is due to an inexact estimation of the influence of the weave. An integrated structure factor of woven fabric is proposed, the weave-firmness factor suggested in the first part of the present series being used. The correlation between the suggested fabric-firmness factor and those factors used earlier is investigated. The suggested fabric-firmness factor is found to compare the structure of different weaves much better than other parameters.
