beta-Cyclodextrin-flavin conjugates are highly efficient catalysts for the sulfoxidation of methyl phenyl sulfides with hydrogen peroxide in neat aqueous media operating at loadings down to 0.2 mol% and allowing for enantioselectivities up to 80% ee.
