Penicillium sp., isolated from the leaves of Taxus cuspidata, produced three new penicillides, 3'-O-methyldehydroisopenicillide (3), 2'-hydroxy-3',4'-didehydropenicillide (4) and 1',2'-epoxy-3',4'-didehydropenicillide (6) as well as the known compound dehydroisopenicillide (2) when grown in liquid culture. These structures were determined by analyses of HR-FABMS, DQF-COSY, PFG-HMQC, PFG-HMBC, and NOE data.
