New molecular triads composed of closely spaced ferrocene boron dipyrrin-fullerene, 1 and triphenylamine-boron dipyrrin fullerene, 2 are synthesized, and photoinduced electron transfer leading to charge stabilization is demonstrated using a femto-second transient spectroscopic technique.
