Amminelithium borohydride, LiBH4 center dot NH3 which has two temperature sensitive chemical bonds N:-> Li+ and N-H center dot center dot center dot H-B, is shown to release hydrogen at low temperatures by stabilizing the ammonia and promoting the recombination of the NH center dot center dot center dot HB bond.
