Unimolecular binary half-adders with orthogonal chemical inputs

Unimolecular half-adders based upon anarylvinyl- bipyridyl fluorophore platform were demonstrated where all the chemical input combinations were fully processed by half-adder molecules to generate the arithmetic results of the entire truth table.
