In the framework of the McClure model, which describes the electronic energy spectrum of bismuth and its alloys in the neighborhood of the L point of the Brillouin zone, an expression is obtained for the electron energy levels in a magnetic field. This expression is used to calculate the magnetic susceptibility of bismuth alloys at arbitrary magnetic fields. It is shown that the theoretical results are in good agreement with the entire set of published experimental data on the field, temperature, and concentration dependences of the magnetic susceptibility of bismuth-antimony alloys.
