Monolithic capillary columns prepared by copolymerization of styrene and divinylbenzene inside a 200 mum i.d. fused silica capillary allow the rapid and highly efficient separation of single- and double-stranded DNA by ion-pair reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. Hyphenation to electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry can be readily achieved. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
